My flower collection

The red rose whispers of passion.

The world is a rose; smell it and pass it to your friends.

Flowers seem intended for the solace of ordinary humanity.

When you have only two pennies left in the world, buy a loaf of bread with one, and a lily with the other.

Flowers... are a proud assertion that a ray of beauty out-values all the utilities of the world.

Flowers are poetry of reproduction.
Take time to smell the roses.

Earth laughs in flowers.

Can we conceive what humanity would be if it did not know the flowers?

God loved the flowers and invented soil. Man loved the flowers and invented vases.

In joy or sadness, flowers are our constant friends.

Perfumes are the feelings of flowers.

There is that in the glance of a flower which may at times control the greatest of creation's braggart lords.

The dance of the flower in the wind, in the sun, in the rain, cannot be understood by the head; the heart has to be open for it.

I'd rather have roses on my table than diamonds on my neck.

True friendship is like a rose: we don't realize its beauty until it fades.

Flowers leave some of their fragrance in the hand that bestows them.

From a thorn comes a rose, and from a rose comes a thorn.

The white rose breathes of love.

The rose has thorns only for those who would gather it.
Flowers are Love's truest language.
Flowers grow out of dark moments.

April showers bring forth May flowers.

Bloom where you are planted.

A rose is a rose is a rose.

Be like the flower, turn your faces to the sun.
All the flowers of all the tomorrows are in the seeds of today.

Happiness is to hold flowers in both hands.
Where flowers bloom so does hope.

Deep in their root, all flowers keep the light.

I ’d be a butterfly born in a bower,Where roses and lilies and violets meet.

God has sown his name on the heavens in glittering stars; but on earth he planteth his name by tender flowers.
